| A ten-day visit to Greece
for Technion students organized by Architect
Dr. Elias Messinas. The trip includes site visits, tours, lectures, and meetings with students of Architecture in Athens, and special field trips with architects such as Prof. Manolis Korres, who is the architect in charge of the restoration of the Parthenon. The focus was on sketching and observing places and buildings, but also on learning on Greek architecture, history, urban planning and development, from a perspective that no tourist can ever experience, thanks to the kind participation and lectures offered by Prof. Yiorgos Saryiannis at the National Technical University of Athens. |
